Want to get away from the everyday grind?  For fun and relaxation for the whole family, you can't beat the Lake LBJ Beach House.

The beach house has a nice, big sandy beach with lots of waterfront.  The water is shallow up to about 50 feet out, providing lots of fun for kids and adults to play in the water and sand.  Out beyond the sand bar the water is deeper and can accommodate boating and swimming.  The main body of Lake LBJ is just a short distance down the river where waterskiing and jet skiing are popular.

There are boat launches in the area and you can anchor your boat on the sandbar.  For your friends with RVs, the beach house has a covered RV port with electrical, water and sewer hookups on the property.

This beach house is located on the Llano arm of Lake LBJ in Kingsland, Texas, about a hour drive northwest of Austin, 80 minutes north of San Antonio and a 4 1/2 hour drive from Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston.  The beach house is located near a public golf course.

Enjoy the picture perfect setting of the peaceful river with the rolling, undisturbed ranchland and Packsaddle Mountain in the background.

Enjoy the lake breezes from the covered porch overlooking the water.  A table, chairs and BBQ grill are provided for outdoor dining.  A long bench has extra seating with a view of the water.

The newly refurbished beach house has a clean and inviting feel to it.  It has two living areas with plenty of seating.  The sofa and two wingback chairs in the living room provide a comfortable place to relax at the end of the day, visit with friends and family, or catch up on your reading.

You may choose to watch TV or listen to music in the family room while you enjoy a great view of the lake.  The door opens to the back porch facing the lake.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals.  The ceramic tiled island is handy for preparing snacks.  All dinnerware and utensils are furnished.  All you need to bring is your food and drinks.

 
The two bedrooms of the home

One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and has a great view of the lake through a large picture window.  The other bedroom sleeps six in two bunk beds with double beds below and single beds above.

A bathroom with a tub/shower combination is located in the hallway between the two bedrooms.

A second bathroom with a shower is located off the family room.   A laundry area provides a washer and dryer for your convenience.

Winter Rates (Sept. 16 - February 28):
   Week Nights (Sun - Thurs) for up to 6 people...$125 per night
   Weekend Nights (Fri - Sat) for up to 6 people...$150 per night
   Holiday Weekends - $200 per night
   Extra person over 6 people - $10 per night
   10% discount when staying 7 or more nights

Spring/Summer Rates (March 1 - Sept 15):
   Week Nights (Sun - Thurs) for up to 6 people...$225 per night
   Weekend Nights (Fri - Sat) for up to 6 people...$250 per night
   Holiday Weekends - $300 per night
   Extra person over 6 people - $10 per night
   Two night minimum stay during the summer months
   10% discount when staying 7 or more nights

Holidays are a 3 night minimum stay: Memorial Day, Labor Day,
   4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years

Hotel tax will be added.
There is a one-time cleaning fee of $75.00 for up to 9 people.
There is a $95 cleaning fee for 10 or more people.
