Looking for a peaceful, relaxing place to spend the weekend or maybe a week or two away from the city traffic and noise?  If you like fishing, boating, swimming or maybe just lazily looking out over the lake and enjoying a beautifuful sunset, you will love this cabin.

Easy to get to.... it is only 50 miles northwest of Austin and 85 miles north of San Antonio. It is located  on the shore of Lake LBJ in Oak Ridge Estates next to Horseshoe Bay, Texas. 

This cabin is named "Vista Grande" and you will agree that it lives up to its name.  The view from this cabin is truly Grand!

WINTER TEXANS AND SNOWBIRDS.... This is an ideal place to spend the winter, away from the ice and snow and cold winds in the northern states.  You will enjoy our mild winter weather.  You will also enjoy the friendly people here in Texas.  You will feel very welcome in the Highland Lakes Area of the central Texas Hill Country.  

The Highland Lakes chain of lakes and the hills covered with live oak trees provide great sightseeing.  The wildflowers start blooming in March of each year and are a sight to behold.  There are several small towns  10 to 15 miles apart which offer festivals, arts & craft shows and interesting gift and antique stores for the tourists.  Also popular with the tourists are our Texas style cafes with B-B-Q, Catfish and other good old Texas style cooking. 

Not only is it fun to spend the winter in Texas, but you will find it inexpensive also. 

This comfortable cabin will accommodate four to six people easily.  The cabin offers 2 bedrooms and bathroom, and has beautiful, unobstructed views of the lake and boating activities from the living room, kitchen and dining area. 

The cabin is open and airy with lots of windows for enjoying the lake views.  It is comfortable and  well furnished and comes with all linen and kitchen needs to make your stay a pleasant one.  The rear deck is the full width of the cabin allowing plenty of room to enjoy the excellent view of the lake.

The kitchen is modern with a nice open and airy feeling and is furnished with modern appliances including a dishwasher.   You can enjoy the view of the lake from the kitchen while you cook the bass you just caught from the fishing pier.

After cooking the bass, take it out on the rear deck and enjoy the lake even more while eating you meal.  The extra large deck provides just the right atmosphere for entertaining friends, or just sitting and enjoying a sunset and watching the boats go by.

The pier is a very popular feature of the cabin.  It provides a place to tie up your boats and jet skis as well as using it for fishing and swimming.  Lake LBJ is a "constant level" lake which provides ideal boating conditions.  This is one of the most popular boating and fishing areas of Texas. 

All of the modern conveniences are provided: Color TV with VCR, Dishwasher, Microwave Oven and all pots and pans, utensils, linen and blankets are furnished.  The cabin is comfortably heated and air conditioned with central H/A.  A washer and Dryer are available for long term guests.

We are sorry, but no pets can be allowed indoors.

Maximum of 4 to six people.  

Minimum stay of 2 nights.
