Driftwood Shores Resort is conveniently located on the west shore of Lake Buchanan 80 minutes northwest of Austin and 95 minutes north of San Antonio.  Lake Buchanan is the first lake in the Highland Lakes chain of lakes in the central Texas Hill Country.

With 900 feet of waterfront you will be able to pick your own favorite spot to play in the water or stretch out under the sun.  Enjoy a romantic fire or bring the kids along for a good old fashioned marshmallow roast at our firepit on the beach.

Lake Buchanan is well known for its sport fishing.  Trophy sized striped bass and catfish, as well as large mouth bass, crappie and perch provide an exciting fishing experience for all ages.  Boats are available for rent in the area or you can go out on the lake with one of the local fishing guides.  Our fishing pier is also very popular with families who enjoy fishing.

We have 8 cottages and a lodge
available at our waterfront location.

With nine individual buildings we can host a variety of different functions including: quiet romantic getaways, family reunions and vacations, church and business retreats or conferences.  Catering services are available locally, or get together for a group cookout under our pavilion by the lake.

Each cottage is unique with its own style and charm.  All are designed with your comfort in mind.  A complete kitchen, linens, TV (no cable), BBQ grills and picnic tables are provided.  All cottages have air conditioning and heat.  Please bring your own towels for swimming.

. The Base Rate is for 2 people.  Each additional person 4 years & older is $12.00 per night extra.

Please have your day guests register at the office. 
There is a $10.00 per person charge (4 years and older).

All cottages are nonsmoking.

Sorry, pets are not allowed.

One night's base rate is required as a deposit.
Deposits will be refunded if reservations are canceled 14 days prior to date of arrival.  Deposit applies to the last night of reservation.
