This beautiful field of flowers is only one of many that bloom each spring in the Highland Lakes area of Central Texas. The Highland Lakes area is virtually covered with flowers each spring. First the Bluebonnets and the Indian Paintbrush and then later other flowers of many colors. The flowers start blooming in mid-March and bloom into June of each year. April is usually the best month for the flowers.
