Land's End at Dutchman's Cove is a quiet, private, secluded, park-like lakefront cove in Tow, Texas, located on the northwest end of Lake Buchanan.  It has four grass covered acres with very few neighbors.  Over 30 large pecan, oak, fruit and willow trees add shade and beauty.

This great getaway has a one bedroom cabin, a 3 bedroom mobile home, and two RV sites only a stones throw from the private lake cove.  Guests can enjoy watching the sun rise over Canyon of the Eagles directly across from Lands End and peaceful nights by a soothing fire. 

Visit Fall Creek Vineyard which offers winery tours and wine tasting and is just around the corner, or take a boat cruise to "The Falls" which is a short distance up the Colorado River from Land's End at Dutchman's Cove.

The City of Llano is only a 25 minute drive away and has one of the most popular BBQ restaurants in Texas.  While in Llano, visit the antique shops and the wonderful downtown square.

Llano County is referred to as "The Deer Capital of Texas" because of the large number of deer in the area. There is also an abundance of other wildlife in the area.

Choose from the comfortable, recently refurbished cabin, a 3 bedroom mobile home, or one of the two RV spaces.  Or, bring along your friends and rent more than one unit.

 

The Cabin

The cabin has been well furnished including a full and single futon in the living area and TV with VCR/DVD player including a few VCR tapes and DVD's to watch in your leisure time. The bedroom was completed with a full size bed and bunkbeds. The cabin can comfortably sleep up to seven people. The dining area is between the living area and kitchen and has a nice wooden table and chairs.

The Cabin has been fully renovated, so everything is in excellent condition.  The new kitchen includes: stovetop, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster oven and is fully stocked with dinnerware, cookware and all the necessary essentials.

A wooden picnic table, umbrella and BBQ are on the large concrete patio looking out at the lake.

The five foot sliding door gives you a wonderful view of the lake from inside the cabin.

The bathroom has a new sink, cabinet, toilet and shower.

There are extra sheets, towels and blankets in the cabin.

 

The Champion Mobile Home

Available after June 1, 2008
The Champion is a three bedroom, 2 bath mobile home with sitting room, laundry, full kitchen and living room.  It will comfortable sleep 12.  With the use of two air mattresses it can sleep as many as16 people.  A second mobile home will be added soon.

The Champion comes completely furnished with everything you need for your lake vacation.

Lake Buchanan has some of the best game fishing on the Highland Lakes.  Make a reservation with an on-site fishing guide for a truly exciting fishing experience on an amazing lake (extra charge).
