Welcome to Lone Star Lake House where the pristine lake is waiting, and the verdant Texas hills are beckoning you to come and enjoy a fun and relaxing weekend at the lake in central Texas.
Lone Star Lake House is located on 175 feet of the best waterfront on beautiful Lake LBJ in Kingsland, Texas. It is situated where the Colorado and Llano rivers join Lake LBJ.
The lake house is only 60 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio and a 4 hour drive from Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston.

Everything you need for an ideal lake vacation....
This lake house's new boat house has 2 electric lifts, 2 personal watercraft moorings, swimming & fishing dock, a 1,200 sq. ft. upper deck at the waterfront for a panoramic view of the lake activity, plus many more amenities for you to enjoy during your vacation at Lake LBJ. If you don't have a boat or personal watercraft, you can rent them locally.You can launch your boat next door at the Lions Park.
This upper-end of Lake LBJ, with its normally constant level water, is the perfect spot for water-skiing, jet-skiing, boating, swimming and fishing. Fun at the lake doesn't get any better than this!
The Main House and the Guest Cottage:
On the 2 acres at the Lone Star Lake House is the Main House which has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and a Guest Cottage which has 1 bedroom and 1 bath.The Main House can provide sleeping for up to 12 people in beds and sofa beds. The Guest Cottage provides sleeping for 2 in a king-sized bed. More people can sleep in sleeping bags and with the use of air mattresses.
The Main House and the Guest Cottage can be rented together or separately.

Boat House with 2 Boat Lifts and Upper Deck
The view of the boating activity on Lake LBJ from this covered deck above the boat dock is spectacular! You will have one of the best seats on the lake! It is a favorite spot for guests to watch the water-skiers and jet-skiers on the lake, chasing the wakes of passing boats.
The newly constructed boat dock's upper deck is great for parties, sunbathing, cookouts or just enjoying the great lake views.
The boat dock has 2 electric boat lifts, jet ski lifts for 2 jet skis, and a swimming-fishing deck.

Swimming Deck

750 year old Oak Tree
This magnificient oak tree above has been estimated to be around 750 years old. It has provided a shady respite for many generations of Texans and native Americans. If only this tree could talk!

Covered patio with lake view
The covered patio is a great place to relax, enjoy your favorite drink, or gather for a good meal with a view. There is room to accommodate several tables. A bar provides additional seating and serving space. The patio also has a TV, Stereo and 2 barbeque grills. Adjacent to the patio is a large wood-fired steak cooker/fire ring.

The property encompases two acres of lush lawn, beautiful trees and plants. The large yard is ideal for reunions, weddings or celebrations.
The Main House
Living Room of the Main House
The living room of the Main House has a view of the lake through a large picture window. It has two queen-sized sleeper sofas which can sleep 4 people. The TV has cable TV.

Kitchen of the Main House
The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, microwave and all the pots and pans, dinnerware, etc. that you need to fix your meals and snacks while on vacation at Lake LBJ. All you need to bring are your food and drinks. A pantry room provides plenty of storage for your food.
A washer and dryer is provided the guests of the Main House.
The First Bedroom
The first bedroom is a spacious bedroom with two queen-sized beds and a view of the lake. A TV with cable TV is in this bedroom.

Second Bedroom - this bedroom has two queen-sized beds. This bedroom also a cable TV and a seating area for two.
There are two bathrooms in the home. Each has a shower.
All linens and towels are provided for your convenience. Please bring your own beach towels.

- 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and can sleep up to 12 people on queen-sized beds and queen-sized sleeper sofas

Guest Cottage

The Guest Cottage is a one room cottage with a king-sized bed, kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator, a bathroom with shower, and table and chairs. It has a TV with cable TV. The Guest Cottage also has an outdoor grill.
The Guest Cottage can be rented with the Main House for extra guests, or it can be rented separately.
Our beautiful landscaped grounds and waterfront amenities are for all our Main House and Guest Cottage guests to enjoy.
