Ringtails are a little larger than squirrels. They have a body that looks like a squirrel's, a tail that looks like a raccoon's, and a head and ears that looks like a tiny fox's. This is a rare photo because the Ringtails are nocturnal and difficult to photograph. This ringtail came to a Highland Lakes house to eat bugs attracted to the lights in the windows. The owners of the home kept hearing a bumping sound against the windows and went out to find a Ringtail jumping against the windows to catch the bugs.
