TRAVELING FROM: 

From South Austin: (driving time: about 1 hr) Take Hwy 71 west through Oak Hill approx 48-50 miles to Hwy 281 north to Marble Falls. Continue on 281 N, turning west (left turn) on Hwy 2147 (just before crossing Colorado River bridge) to Horseshoe Bay.  Follow directions.

From North Austin: (driving time: about 1 hr) Take Hwy 183 to Capital of Texas Hwy (loop 360 south) to Bee Caves Road. Turn west on Bee Caves Road. Proceed to Hwy 71 (go in direction to Llano). Stay on 71 west about 48-50 miles. You will then take Hwy 281 north to Marble Falls. Turn west (left turn) on Hwy 2147 (just before crossing Colorado River bridge) to Horseshoe Bay. Follow directions.

From Dallas/Ft. Worth: (driving time: about 3.5 - 4 hr)  I-35 South to Georgetown. Turn west on Hwy 29 to Burnet, then south on Hwy 281 through Marble Falls to FM 2147. Turn west on 2147 (right turn) to Horseshoe Bay just after crossing Colorado River bridge. Continue on 2147 west.  Follow directions.

From Houston: (driving time about 4 to 5 hr) I-10 West to Columbus, then 71 west through Austin all the way to Hwy 281 north to Marble Falls. (about 50 miles west from Austin) Enter Hwy 281 north till you approach FM 2147 west to Horseshoe Bay. (just before crossing Colorado River bridge) Turn west (left turn) onto 2147 to Horseshoe Bay. Follow directions. 

From San Antonio: (driving time about 1.5 hr) Take Hwy 281 north through Blanco and Johnson City.  Then turn west (left turn) on Hwy 2147 to Horseshoe Bay; just before crossing Colorado River Bridge. Follow directions.

Proceed from Marble Falls with Directions: 

Once you arrive onto FM 2147 at Marble Falls,  continue west about 5 miles to Horseshoe Bay's Main entrance. On the left (south side) of highway, there will be two big ponds at the entrance. This is Clayton Nolen Rd. (The street is Clayton Nolen Rd on the south side and called Horseshoe Bay Blvd. on the north; opposite side of highway). Take the Clayton Nolen Rd. side which will be a LEFT turn.  Keep to your right, the road quickly forms a "Y" and becomes Hi Circle South. Stay on Hi Circle South. Cross the low-water crossing which is Slickrock Creek. About 2 more blocks you'll turn left on Hi Mesa. You will soon be crossing another low-water crossing. (private swimming hole & campground). You're almost there!  The cabin is on your right two blocks past the campground at 610 Southwind. Welcome! Overnight guests please park in front without blocking driveway to rear of cabin; follow your self check-in instructions. Enjoy your stay!
