Vista del Lago Lake House has 100 feet of waterfront of the popular Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ. Lake LBJ is a normally constant level lake which provides the best conditions for boating, waterskiing, jet skiing and swimming.
The lake house is conveniently located about 60 minutes northwest of Austin, 90 minutes north of San Antonio and about a 4 to 4 1/2 hour drive from Dallas/Ft. Worth and Houston.
Boat Dock and Swimming Deck
The lake house boat dock has an electric lift for your boat and has a nice, large deck for sunbathing, swimming and fishing. The deck has a swing, picnic table and chairs for sitting near the water. This is also a favorite spot for watching all of the activity on the lake. The view up and down the lake from the deck is spectacular.
The water is shallow near the shore, providing good swimming conditions.
View of the House from Lake LBJThis lake house has 2,150 sq. ft. with 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths and can sleep up to 10 people comfortably. It has recently been completely and tastfully remodeled to maximize your enjoyment of vacationing on the lake. A covered porch, almost the width of the home, and a screened porch provide great views of the activity on the lake.
The lake house is located in a country setting, but there is a locally owned and operated Country Store less than 2 miles away for quick trips to purchase basic goods such as snacks, drinks, milk, gas, bait and other basic sundries. Kingsland with its large HEB grocery store is only 5 miles away.
As you enter the home you will notice the beautiful mosiac tile work that incorporates the Star of Texas in the center of the circle. You will enjoy other attractive remodeling features as you go throughout the home.
All furnishings throughout the home are new.
Great Room of the Lake House
There is plenty of room for everyone in the spacious 30' x 15' great room. The view of the lake from the great room is spectacular. Sliding doors and two large picture windows bring the outdoors inside and add plenty of cheerful light to the room.
A large brick fireplace at the end of the room creates a cozy atmosphere on cool evenings. The vaulted ceiling adds to the spaciousness of this large room. Cove lighting along the ceiling provides a soft glow to the room at night.
A built-in bookcase contains books, movies and games for your entertainment. This room has a cable TV with DVD and VCR.
Kitchen of the Lake House
The newly renovated kitchen is crisp and clean, and you will appreciate the new appliances and smooth cooktop. A dishwasher, microwave oven, utensils, dinnerware, pots and pans and everything you need to prepare complete meals and snacks are provided. All you need to provide are your food and drinks.
A counter top with bar stools provides a good place to eat snacks, or chat with the "cook." From the breakfast area in the kitchen you can enjoy the lake view through the window.
The spacious master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, huge walk-in closet, two built-in dressers and a TV. The adjacent master bath has a ceramic tiled shower.
Second Bedroom
The second bedroom has a queen size bed and a trundle bed that can accomodate two additional quests. A bath with a shower and glass door is located between the second and third bedrooms.
Third Bedroom
The third bedroom can sleep 4 people in two bunk beds. This is the favorite bedroom of the younger guests.
The third bathroom is located in the hallway near the kitchen. This bathroom is a full bath with a tub and shower.
View from the Screened-in Porch
The screened porch is a favorite spot to watch the boats and jet skis go by while enjoying a cool drink and visiting with friends. Some guests like to spend the night in the screened porch, enjoying the gentle lake breezes while they sleep.
A large laundry room/mud room with its own outside entrance is convenient for entering the house with wet bathing suits.

Extra persons over 6 people - $15 per night
Holiday weekends - $340 per night
